Studied anthropology, returned to Australia 1913, and joined Northern Territory Health Service, President, Royal Society of S.A. 1938; M.D., F.R.A.C.S., 1934; Medical Officer of Health for City of Adelaide; President, Anthropological Society of S.A., 1933, 1951.
